MY CLAIM

Mercedes Benz

SOUTH AFRICA'S MOST EXPLOITING TRADEMARKS?

mITSUBISHI mOTORES

What do I want from Mercedes and Mitsubishi?

  1.  Accept full responsibility for all money paid to Naledi Motors and all other tow in companies for the repair of the vehicle after 20 December 2011.
  2. I accept responsibility for the flights to Francistown and for one night’s accommodation in Francistown.
  3. I planned to overnight one night in Gaborone and one night on route to Cape Town. I therefore don’t claim any accommodation.
  4. I expected Mercedes Benz and Mitsubishi to pay for my return flight to Cape Town on 23 December.  If they have done a proper job I would never be stranded in Gaborone. This costs were BWP 1380 and ZAR 1560
  5. I find it totally unacceptable that a new vehicle, which was with Mercedes Benz and Naledi Motors for more than 3 months and for which I had just paid R16 000 for repairs, could only drive for 250 km before it broke down.  I also find it completely unacceptable that Mercedes Benz and Naledi Motors did not pay their bill towards the tow-in company.
  6. I want them therefore to pay me back the R12 600 which I paid to André from Rotary Power in Gaborone.
  7. If the vehicle is not ready by 31 December 2011, I insist a replacement vehicle of the same value.  Preferably a Triton Automatic with security rails and a tow bar.
  8. I insist that the guarantee be honoured and that Mercedes Benz South Africa repair the vehicle without any delays or further costs to myself.
  9. I will remove this web page only after a written apology by Mercedes Benz South Africa and Mitsubishi Motors, South Africa and an undertaking by both these companies to stop exploiting their customers and after the total claim of R12 600 + R3022 (for my return air tickets.)
  10. I declare myself willing to place any letters by Mercedes Benz South Africa, Rola motors, Naledi Motors and Mitsubishi motors unchanged and I invited them hereby to explain their side of the story.
